A Japanese Meiji-Period Parcel-Gilt Satsuma Lidded Box, Mark for Choshuzan, Late 19th Century - A Japanese Meiji-Period Parcel-Gilt Satsuma Lidded Box, Mark for Choshuzan, Late 19th Century   The top with a foo dog finial and a swirling alternating floral and geometric decoration, the sides with a continuous extensive landscape with figures, the interior of lid and box with baskets of flowers; marked on the underside.   Dimensions : 4 7/8 in. diameter, 4 3/4 in. high   Provenance : From a Main Line collection. Condition: In good overall condition with very minor scattered losses to gilding.
