Printed letter of condolence with signature of Rabbi Shmuel Yitzchak Hillman, sent to Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Shezuri (Weber), secretary of the Jerusalem Chief Rabbinate, after the passing of his wife. 1952. Letter on stationery of Yeshivas Ohel Torah, Jerusalem, which was headed by Rabbi Hillman after his retirement from the London Beth Din. Rabbi Shmuel Yitzchak Hillman (1868-1953), Studied in Volozhin, Rabbi of Razino and Glasgow (1908). Appointed Rosh Beth Din of London in 1914. Retired to Yerushalayim in 1934, where he headed Yeshivas Ohel Torah. Author of over 20 volumes of rabbinic studies published under the title Or Hayashar. 1 side. 22 x 28 cm. Very good condition.
