POSTER REGARDING THE CONTROVERSY OVER THE KOSHER STATUS OF A COFFEE PRODUCER. ‘Bekantmachung!’ poster refuting charges made that coffee authorised for Passover use by Rabbi Shimon Sofer, the revered Rabbi of Erlau, is not Kosher. The Rabbi of Erlau states that the factory concerned was opened by observant Jews and is under full supervision, as confirmed by his father-in-law, Rabbi Zalman Spitzer of Vienna. German; printed in both Hebrew and German characters. Rabbi Shimon Sofer (1850-1944), son of the Ksav Sofer, Rabbi and Rosh Yeshiva of Erlau from 1881 until his deportation by the Nazis.
