Long 3-side letter full of Torah novellae related to Chanuka, dated 1913. In addition, Rabbi Zucker asks his uncle, who was a fish merchant, if he could send him a barrel of herring, ‘as here in our place, one cannot obtain fish for Shabbos each week. Please let me know the price, and I will pay immediately’! Rabbi Chayim Zucker (1880-1944), son of Rabbi Eliezer Zucker of Beregsasz and son-in-law of Rabbi Yaakov Peretz Silberman of Ratzfert. Rabbi of Nagyhalasz (1862) before succeeding his father in Beregsasz in 1922. Rabbi Mordechai Ze’ev HaCohen Schwartz (d. 1919), son of Rabbi Avraham Yehuda Schwartz – author of Kol Aryeh.
