1940s / 1950s Chicago Train Advertisement Posters - Collection of advertisement cards from Chicago trains - 1940s and 1950s on the Chicago Aurora & Elgin Line (except for one). All cards are roughly 14” x 22”. All signs have wear and some damage. Includes: 1950 Chicago White Sox home schedule (horizontal fold in middle). This card was displayed advertised on the North Shore Line ** 10th annual international Sports, Travel & Boat Show at Navy Pier. ** Shipstads & Johnson original and finest Ice Follies of 1952 - all new 16th annual edition. ** 1956 Modern Living Home and Garden Show at the International Amphitheatre ** Chicago Opera Co. 1946 season - Frequent service via Chicago Aurora & Elgin ** 56th annual exhibition of American Paintings at the Art Institute of Chicago. This card appears to have a peach colored discoloration on front and back - though this may be part of the poster.
