Italian Model 1870 Bayonet - Italy - model 1870 bayonet. Blade: 9.5”. Overall length: 14.5”. Press stud moves easily. Oxidation on blade. One side of the ricasso is stamped with the letters ”TA” below a crown (we believe this is the Torre Annunziata arsenal makers mark). The other side of the ricasso is stamped with the letters ”BL” in an oval - on the same side stamped into the crosspiece: ”DE8472”.
