Group of 50 WWII Pilot Maps European Theater - Group of 50 WWII Pilot Maps, European Theater. Includes: Valencia, Flensburg, Cagliari, Chieti, Bolzano, Berne, Ireland North, Cartagena, Aalborg, Stavanger, Oslo, Marrakech, Ireland South, Strait of Dover, Bodo, Orkneys and Shetlands, Stettin, Tunis, Ajaccio, Trondhjem, Istanbul, Torino, Athens, Midlands & Wales, Belgrade, Flensburg, Tanger, Volos, Krakow, Tatry, the Highlands, North Scotland, Gibraltar, Bucuresti (Bucharest), Mallorca, Fiume, Sofia, Budapest, Graz, the Border, Danzig, Nordkap, Barcelona, North Sea, Oran, Lyon, Wein (Vienna), Munchen (Munich), Karlskrona, and Zaragoza. The majority are Zone Layer System maps, a few RAF Ordnance maps, some have been printed on the back of other parts of old maps, some on heavy paper with cheesecloth backing. All of these maps are WWII. The pilot or navigator that used them had trimmed the margins on all four sides but the map portions are intact. Great as display or reenactor items. Apart from the trimmed margins, all are in good condition. The majority of the maps are approximately 22 x 27”.
