This tour pitted the Cincinnati Reds against the Yomiuri Giants and other teams of Japanese players across 17 games. Sadaharu Oh, at the end of his career, led all Japanese players with 2 home runs and 7 RBI while Johnny Bench tallied 9 home runs and 16 RBI.
