Chicago Cubs 8-8-88 .999 Fine Silver 1ozt Round - Believed to be minted by Enviromint, a subsidiary of Chicagoland Paper Recycling (CPR) of Elk Grove Village, IL - 1 troy ounce round of 0.999 fine silver commemorating the first night game at Wrigley Field on 8 August 1988 (8-8-88). Stamped as coin 0245 of a limited edition (unknown mintage - though research indicates 50,000). The obverse shows Wrigley Field from a centerfield POV with the date and * First Night Game* above the Cubs logo. In the outfield: ”Chicago Cubs vs. Philadelphia Phillies” and ”Wrigley Field Chicago, IL”. The reverse (and edges) is heavily toned with some coloration showing the exterior of Wrigley Field behind home plate with a star-filled sky and the words ”A Night to Remember” - invoking the sinking of the Titanic and a must have for any loyal Cubs fan.
