Reverse has ”S. U. A. Childs & Co Engravers Chicago Ill”; and ---1900 U.S. bronze Navy China Relief Expedition Service Medal. weighs 23.78 grams and diameter 33 mm. The 1900 U.S. Navy China Relief Expedition Medal is a bronze (often appearing as bronze-copper) campaign medal authorized in 1908 to honor service during the Boxer Rebellion, typically featuring a 33mm diameter. It recognized sailors and marines serving on shore or at sea between May 24, 1900, and May 27, 1901. Obverse: A Chinese gate with a dragon in profile, inscribed ”CHINA RELIEF EXPEDITION” and ”1900”.
