Henry A. Whiting Patent Model Hat Binding Machine - Patent model machine for binding and wiring hats by Henry A. Whiting. There is a tag from the Cliff Peterson Collection (Santa Monica, CA) that identifies this model as being for patent No. 138459 - the original patent tags are present, but in such poor condition that they are difficult to read. We have printed out a copy of the original diagrams and description. Model is made of wood and metal. Measures approximately 14-1/8” x 8” x 7-5/8” tall. Weight: 12 pounds (5.4 kg).
