D.L. Walker Patent Model Washing Machine, 1849 - Patent model for a washing machine by Daniel L. Walker. Has what appears to be original hand written patent tag (patent No. 6532) with patent date of June 19, 1849 (tag is damaged). Model is made of wood (brass plaque engraved ”D.L. Walker”). Includes printed copy of original diagram and description. Measures approximately 10” x 5” x 7.5” tall. Weight: approximately 2.2 pounds. Signs of wear and damage.
