1900s Self Care Kit - Vintage Soaps & More - Selection of packages of self care products from the early to mid 20th century, including soaps, hair tonics, shave creams, and more. Lot includes firstly an empty bottle Canadian Booster Hair Tonic & Dandruff Remedy (original product including Arsenous Acid!) and original box to hold bottle. Box in somewhat rough shape with dents and a few tears, but remarkably intact for its age. Next is a tin container of Palmolive Talcum with a diamond shaped bottom and an oval shaped neck. Cap on top still turns. Third is a cylindrical tube of Armour's Ovol Mutton Tallow to ”relieve chapped hands, lips, and any roughness of the skin”. One box containing a Toro Tablet for the purpose of washing clothes, one box containing an Avon Shaving Stick, and one box Mayflowers Cold Cream Shaving Stick. Lastly is one container Colgate's Rapid-Shave Powder and one box of Shaving Mug Soap (featuring an offer for a special shaving brush expiring Jan 1, 1980). See photos for condition details.
