Antique Vesta Cases / Match Safes - Four antique vesta cases or match safes made from various materials, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The first is in the shape of a domino, made from vulcanite and celluloid dating from the 1880s. The backside is cracked and partially missing. The second is in the shape of a book and carved from bone with a silver toned monogram on the front. The third is made from enamel or similar with a silver toned floral decoration on one side. The fourth is hexagonal and made from leather, marked as ”Made in Italy”. The largest is approximately 2.75” long and the smallest is approximately 1.75”.
