One side with the seal of the State of Illinois in gold, and on the other side, also rendered in gold ”Best Wishes Governor George H. Ryan State of Illinois”. Bottom of each bowl stamped ”Pickard China Proudly Made in the USA” over an American flag - ”Manufactured in Antioch, IL. Porcelain trinket tray (approximately 5.25” x 3.25”). Front is stamped ”Hotel Ritz Barcelona”. Bottom is stamped ”Grife Y Escoda Barcelona - Madrid”.
