Three Used Postage Stamps from Berlin, Series 'Ansichten II', 1978 (Michel Nos. 578-580) - A set of three used German postage stamps from the 'Ansichten II' (Views II) series of Berlin, issued in 1978 (Michel Nos. 578–580). The top stamp, in denomination of 50 pfennig (Michel No. 579), depicts a multi-story building identified as the 'Shell House' on the 'LANDWEHRKANAL' (Landwehr Canal) with a bridge. The two identical bottom stamps, each in denomination of 60 pfennig (Michel Nos. 578 or 580), depict a church situated by a body of water, identified as 'ALT-LICHTENRADE' (Old Lichtenrade). All stamps bear the inscription 'DEUTSCHE BUNDESPOST BERLIN' and are perforated. They bear circular postmarks, with the lower left stamp clearly showing the date '23.8.79' (23 August 1979) and additional text including 'ABU'.
