Three Postage Stamps from West Germany, 1977, ”Castles and Palaces” Series, Used - A set of three used West German postage stamps, issued in 1977, from the Deutsche Bundespost's ”Castles and Palaces” (Burgen und Schlösser) series. The lot includes two blue 10-pfennig stamps, each depicting ”SCHLOSS GLÜCKSBURG” (Glücksburg Castle), and a red 50-pfennig stamp depicting ”SCHLOSS NEUSCHWANSTEIN” (Neuschwanstein Castle). All stamps are printed on paper and bear the inscription ”DEUTSCHE BUNDESPOST.” They bear circular postmarks indicating use; a partial postmark on the red stamp includes ”MÜNCHEN” (Munich) and a date, possibly from the early 1960s.
