Three Stamps of the Deutsche Bundespost, Castles and Palaces Series, c. 1980 - A group of three Deutsche Bundespost stamps, part of the ”Castles and Palaces” (”Burgen und Schlösser”) series, dated circa 1980. Each stamp is perforated and printed on white paper, featuring a stylized illustration of a historic German building. All stamps prominently display ”DEUTSCHE BUNDESPOST” at the top. The top left stamp, printed in blue, shows ”SCHLOSS GLÜCKSBURG” with a denomination of ”10.” The top right stamp, in red, depicts ”BURG GEMEN” with a denomination of ”25” and has a clear circular postmark dated ”8.4.80,” indicating its use. The bottom stamp, also in blue, illustrates ”WASSERSCHLOSS MESPELBRUNN” with a denomination of ”70.” The consistent illustrative style suggests they belong to a late 20th-century series.
