Block of Four Used Stamps from Germany, Deutsche Bundespost, Industry and Technology Series, 1970s - A block of four used Deutsche Bundespost postage stamps from the 1970s ”Industry and Technology” series. Each stamp bears the vertical inscription ”DEUTSCHE BUNDESPOST” and depicts a distinct industrial or technological theme. The top left stamp, denomination ”50,” depicts an ”ERDEFUNKSTELLE” (Land Radio Station) and is clearly postmarked ”16.1.76.” Next to it, the top right stamp, denomination ”20,” depicts a ”LEUCHTTURM” (Lighthouse). The bottom left stamp, denomination ”120,” depicts a detailed ”CHEMIEANLAGE” (Chemical Factory), while the bottom right stamp, denomination ”100,” depicts a ”BRAUNKOHLENFÖRDERBAGGER” (Bucket-Wheel Excavator for Lignite). All stamps display vibrant colors and are in overall good condition, with intact perforations, consistent with their used status. Presented on a black backing.
