Three Used French Postage Stamps, Marianne Type, c. 1971 - This lot features three used French postage stamps, predominantly of the Marianne type, dated c. 1971. The top two stamps, a green 'FRANCE 2.00 POSTES' and a red 'FRANCE 0.30 POSTES', depict a classical female bust in profile, facing right. The green stamp bears a partial round postmark including '198'. The bottom red stamp, marked 'RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE POSTES 0.50', features a stylized female bust in profile, facing left, adorned with a Phrygian cap. This stamp bears a heavy round postmark with partially legible text such as 'VOTE' and 'COU'. All stamps display intact perforations and vibrant coloration.
