Three Postage Stamps from Brazil: Scott #1253, #1254 and #1255 - A set of three Brazilian postage stamps, comprising Scott catalog numbers #1253, #1254, and #1255, from the ”Mark Post and Emblem” series issued in 1974. All stamps are made of perforated paper. The top stamp, Scott #1255, is vertically oriented with the text ”BRASIL” and ”CORREIO” in gold, and the denomination ”50 Cts.” This stamp appears to have been unused. The two bottom stamps, Scott #1253 (black dots) and #1254 (blue dots), are joined horizontally (se-tenant). Both are horizontally oriented, displaying ”BRASIL” in dotted text and a large denomination ”200.” These stamps are overstamped with partial circular impressions in black, clearly showing ”15 DEC” and ”27 JAN, ” with the year ”1977” visible on the second stamp's postmark.
