Pair of 9p Machin Stamps and 10½p Machin Stamps of Great Britain, Queen Elizabeth II, Used - This lot includes a pair of Great Britain Machin postage stamps, denominated 9 pence (9p), and a single Great Britain Machin stamp, denominated 10½ pence (10½p). All stamps feature the iconic left-facing monochrome profile of Queen Elizabeth II, adorned with a crown and collar, characteristic of the Machin series. The Machin series is widely recognized and was issued on a variety of dates, with the 9p stamp being associated with issues circa 1976 (Scott #MH67) according to market research. The items are paper and bear black postmarks; the top pair shows partial text ”EMBER” and ”se the, ” significantly obscuring the design, with additional cancellations blurred. The bottom stamp has several horizontal bar stamps.
