Complete Set of Four Stamps from Mozambique, Butterflies and Colonial Fauna, c. 1953 - A complete set of four unobliterated pictorial postage stamps issued for Mozambique, arranged on a black background. The set is identified in the marketplace as ”Mozambique Butterflies 4v Complete Set, ” with the year of issue associated with the butterfly series being approximately 1953. The upper left stamp, marked ”PROVINCE OF MOZAMBIQUE” and ”$50,” depicts a man working on a telecommunications pole (”TELECOMMUNICATIONS NETWORK”).
