Pair of large 19/20th-century Delft vases with lids. 16 x 43 cm diameter each vase - Good overall condition, slight wear and signs of aging. Very fine oval terracotta vases with Delft varnish decoration, floral scrolls, and vegetal scrolls in shades of Delft blue. The bronze base and lid were added in the 1970s because they had been drilled to make two lamps. Delft-stamped on the bottom. Presumably dated between 1890 and 1919. Certificate of authenticity issued by the ”La Maison de la Petite Sara” Art Gallery. Shipping upon request.
