Square. lacquer box with gold decoration and mother -of - pearl appliquès in the shibayama technique, depicting a landscape and everyday life scene with a mother and child picking flowers on the shore of a lake. Interior in nashiji gold lacquer. Estimated production period: 1868-1912. 14 x 6 x 14 cm - Excellent overall condition, minor signs of aging. HIgh - quality item in good overail condition.
