Set of 4 chairs Thonet Mundus model 14 designed by Michael Thone - Set of 4 chairs Thonet Mundus model 14 designed by Michael Thonet in 1860 and immediately baptized as a classic bistro chair. Minimalist for the use of the material and for the number of pieces that compose it, the No. 14 is the result of a technological research that lasted almost twenty years, and is so important as it is considered the first example of industrial design. The structure is in fact composed of solid beech elements curved with steam, the seat is made of Vienna straw and the backrest and rear legs take shape from a single piece.
