A RARE CELADON JADE PLAQUE, China, Qing dynasty, 18th century - h cm 20 x l cm 11 Finely incised and carved in relief, one side is carved with a scene of figures in a mountainous landscape among imposing rocks, luxuriant trees, and architectural structures; the other is carved with a mountainous landscape featuring a pagoda and trees at the base, including a pine tree that follows the natural grain of the stone. The upper edge is carved in the form of a cloud, and the other sides are shaped to simulate natural rock.
