Bidspirit auction | A QIANJIANGCAI PORCELAIN 'CONG' VASE

A QIANJIANGCAI PORCELAIN 'CONG' VASE SIGNED BY XU YIMAO (1885-1901), China, dated 1898 - h cm 26 It is painted on one side with a naturalistic landscape featuring pagodas and mountains, and on the other with a  small bird perched on a flowering tree. It bears inscriptions, including the signature of the artist Xu Yimao (徐义茂) and the cyclical date wuxu (戊戌), corresponding to the year 1898; it has two ring handles in the form of elephant heads. The base bears an impressed four-character seal mark in red Guan Yao Nei Zao (官窑内造). 清晚期   浅绛彩四方琮式瓶  (徐义茂)  底款“官窑内造”
