A Pair of Antique Iron Agricultural Wheels and Axle Assembly - A pair of vintage agricultural implement wheels and axle assembly, constructed from wrought or cast iron. The design is typical of late 19th or early 20th-century British farm machinery, such as that found on a horse-drawn hay rake or seed drill. Each wheel is engineered with a wide, flat outer rim and multiple tapered spokes. A secondary inner circular ring provides structural reinforcement to the spokes, a feature intended to distribute weight and prevent the wheels from bogging down in soft soil. The wheels are mounted to a single, solid horizontal iron axle with tapered central hubs. No maker's marks, stamps, or identifying characters are visible on any of the metal surfaces.
