Bidspirit auction | A Collection of Red Clay

A Collection of Red Clay Bricks Including Radial and Standard Specials - A large collection of red clay bricks, featuring a combination of standard rectangular blocks and various shaped architectural specials. The assortment includes radial (curved) bricks and bullnose types, many of which are designed with distinctive circular perforations or ”frogs” through the body. The lot is comprised of several palletised stacks and a disorganized loose pile. Some pallets remain wrapped in clear plastic film, while others are exposed to the elements. A wooden pallet in the background bears a black stencilled mark in capital letters reading PROPERTY OF followed by partially obscured characters that appear to spell ROCKWOOL. The bricks are constructed from terracotta-coloured clay and are stored outdoors on grass.
