Bidspirit auction | A Group of Red Facing

A Group of Red Facing Bricks - A group of red-bodied building bricks, possibly surplus stock, stacked upon a wooden pallet base. The bricks are constructed from smooth-faced red clay and appear to be of the wire-cut variety. Several examples exhibit darker, over-fired markings on both the headers and stretchers. A number of the bricks are oriented to display rectangular indentations or frogs. The collection is partially wrapped at the base with remnants of clear plastic shrink-wrap. There are no maker's marks, stamps, or labels visible on the exposed surfaces of the bricks.
