A LARGE CHINESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL LOBED JARDINIERE WITH WOODEN STAND. Decorated with dragons chasing flaming pearls with cloud scrolls between bands of waves and ruyi heads, reserved on a black ground. Together with original, intricately carved and pierced wooden stand decorated with floral scrolls and key fret, on six ruyi form feet. 50cm length. Provenance: Acquired by the vendor's father in Hong Kong between 1953 - 57 during his time as a Colonel of the British Royal Artillery, thence by descent.
