AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY CHINESE PORCELAIN DRAGON PATTERN PART TEA-SERVICE, PRINTED IRON-RED MADE IN CHINA MARKS. Painted and gilt with a blue, green and dark purple dragon amongst red scrolls, the border with cell pattern bands and floral cartouches, within gilt lined rims, comprising: An oviform coffee pot and cover A teapot and cover A milk-jug A shaped square teacup and saucer A teacup and saucer Two coffee-cups Eight side-plates A set of six sweetmeat dishes fitted in a dark red lacquered box Provenance: Edward E. Steel, Sergeant of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, serving with China Command, Hong Kong, circa 1924.
