A CHINESE YUE CHICKEN HEAD EWER, JIN DYNASTY 4TH – 5TH CENTURY. Compressed globular body on a flat base with galleried rim. Applied with a chicken head spout with two flattened handles and a further arched handle. Covered in an olive green glaze stopping short of the foot. 19.5cm tall with handle.
