1943 WWII-ERA M1 CARBINE - A WWII M1 Carbine in .30 Carbine made by Saginaw S. G. in 1943 as marked on the receiver with serial number 3631314, with a subcontracted Underwood barrel also made in 1943, later imported by Blue Sky Imports from Korea. The stock is a Type III in American Black Walnut with minor Korean War era modifications such as the flip safety, and the stock was likely a post-WWII refurbish either by an armorer for Korea or the importer post-Korea given the lack of markings or cartouches on the wood.
