MILDRED PNEUMAN STREAMSIDE LANDSCAPE OIL PAINTING - Original oil painting on canvas by listed artist, Mildred Arline Young Pneuman (CO, IN, 1899 - 1989), signed lower right. Features streamside cottages amongst a sunny mountain landscape. Art measures 13.5” h x 15.5” w presented in a frame measuring 21.5” x 24”.  Artist bio: Mildred Pneuman was a painter in watercolor and oil of landscapes, seascapes and still lifes, and also did wood block printing, lithographs, etchings and serigraphs. She began focusing on western themes in the mid-1920s and sketched in New Mexico, Arizona, Wyoming, California, Mexico and Canada.  She served as President of the Boulder Artists Guild before moving to Walnut Creek, California. In 1981, she settled in Bellevue, Washington. Pneuman became a Fellow of the International Institute of Arts and Literature of Geneva, Switzerland. Her work is in the Boulder County Courthouse and the University of Colorado.
