Art measures 64.5” H x 80” W x 2” D.  Artist bio: Born at the very beginning of the 80s, Free Figuration was a scandal for some and the sign of a new impulse in French contemporary painting for others. As a key figure of the movement, Boisrond opposed the austere and serious art of the previous years to an entertaining painting which, inspired by contemporary mass culture, sought to be popular and genuine.
