”BLUE GROTTO” ETCHING ATTR. TO DORIS KREINDLER - Limited edition etching on paper attributed to listed artist, Doris Barsky Kreindler (NY, NJ, 1901 - 1974), signed lower right, titled ”Blue Grotto” lower left and numbered ”15 impressions” lower center. Art measures 10” h x 13” w under pelxi frame measuring 18” x 22”.  Artist bio: Examples of Kreindler's work have been acquired by the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the National Collection of Art in Washington, the Brooklyn Museum and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Exhibiting her art frequently, she held a number of one‐woman shows at Jacques Seligmann & Co. She studied at the National Academy of Design and Pratt Institute and with Hans Hofmann. Kreindler received prizes for her art from the Brooklyn Society of Artists, the Sarasota Society of Artists and American Society of Contemporary Artists.
