AFTER EDOUARD DROUOT (1859-1945) ”LIBELLULE” BRONZE SCULPTURE - ”Libellule” a cast bronze sculpture after the original sculpture created by listed sculptor Eduoard Drouot of France (1859-1945). The sculpture is cast with Drouot's signature mark on the back. The sculpture measures 28” H x 10” W x 10” D.  Drouot, born in Sommevoire / Haute Marne in 1859 was a well known sculptor. He studied in Paris under E. Thomas and M. Maurois. He worked primarily in genre sculpture. He created group sculptures depicting dancers, athletes, genre scenes on oriental and mythological themes, and hunting scenes. Drouot was most well known for his art nouveau allegorical female figure sculptures.
