FLORENCE SACKETT STREAMSIDE LANDSCAPE OIL PAINTING - Original oil painting on canvas by listed Oregon artist, Florence Sackett (Born 1927), signed lower right. Features a streamside autumn forest landscape. Art measures 24” H x 28” W x 1” D.  Artist bio: Florence Sackett is known primarily for her western landscapes, although she also paints marine scenes and seascapes. She has done paintings of the Grand Canyon for Grand Canyon National Park and has had reproductions of her work published in Sunset magazine. Sackett was a member of the Desert Art Center in Palm Springs, CA and active in the Oregon Society of Artists and the Oregon Artists' Association where she taught landscape painting.
