The item measures 9.5” H, 5.5” W, 5.5” D. Artist bio: Peter Ipsen was a Danish artist who was apprenticed to a carpenter before joining the Royal Porcelain Manufactory in 1833. He gained international recognition for his replicas of ancient Greek and Roman pottery, winning prizes at international exhibitions and opening his own shops in Paris and London. Ipsen collaborated with artists such as Thorvald Bindesboll and Willumsen, and his works are represented in various collections around the world.
