JOHN PAUL (JACK) BRAMAN 'DAY AT THE BEACH' ACRYLIC PAINTING - Original acrylic painting on paper by listed Northwest artist, John Paul (Jack) Braman (OR, WA, 20th Century), signed lower right and dated '92. Features a coastal northwest beach scene with girls making sandcastles on the shore. Art measures 19” H x 29” W presented in a frame under glass measuring 27.5” H x 37” W x 2” D.  Artist bio: Braman received his degree in art from the University of Oregon in 1974. Soon after graduating he began showing in galleries and has worked as a full time artist ever since. Braman divides his time between field study and painting in his studio. He often camps, hikes and explores the beautiful landscapes of the Western states. It is here within the landscape that Jack does small paintings, sketches, and photographs to establish a relationship with the subjects which will later be used to develop larger paintings in his studio. His work is represented in the following galleries: Mockingbird Gallery in Bend, Oregon, Kneeland Gallery in Sun Valley, Idaho, Jones and Terwilliger Galleries in Carmel and Palm Desert, California.
