TROPHY ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK TAXIDERMY - This elk was shot and harvest in Nevada in November of 2006. They have an antler score of  375”+/-.Oregon Fish and Wildlife as tagged the mount and paperwork will be provided to buyer. The elk mount measures approx. 63” H x 48” W x 50” D. To score antlers, you measure the inside spread, main beam lengths, tine lengths, and mass (circumferences). Add all these dimensions together to get a ”gross score”. Subtracting side-to-side asymmetry gives you the ”net score” The Rocky Mountain Elk are the second largest animals in the elk subfamily. From there the elk ranges from 500-750 pounds, depending on male or female.
