NIAGARA FRONTIER MOON-PHASE GRANDFATHER CLOCK, JUDAH COLT; C. 1780 - An 8-day time strike calendar moon-phase grandfather clock with an early New Jersey movement assembled in the Niagara Frontier. This clock is composed of mixed woods with a mahogany finish that was originally owned by Judah Colt, a Western New York Niagara frontier pioneer. The grandfather clock was passed down to the Irving family, the decedents of Judah Colt's brother Samuel Colt. Provenance documents are included. The grandfather clock measures approximately 87.5” H x 19.5” W x 12” D.
