The violin has an label which reads ”Andreas Guarnerius fecit Cremona Sub Titulo Santa Teresia 1663 (Andrea Guarneri made this in Cremona, at the sign of Santa Teresa, 1663” and was ”Repaired and Retoned By H.H. Merrill of Portland, Oregon in May, 1927”. The violin has a chin rest marked ”Made in Germany”. The violin case measures approximately 31” H x 9.5” W x 4” D.
