TWO DECORATED BOXES - American, 19th century, basswood. One with original black, brown, and yellow paint, the other with original faux rosewood graining. Larger is 7.25” high, 17.75” wide, 9.5” deep. Smaller is 5” high, 17” wide, 9.5” deep. Provenance: private collection. Condition: Both with minor wear. Larger with original latch hooks and brass handle.
