FOLK CARVING OF A MAN - American, early 20th century, appears to be walnut or butternut. Standing figure of a man wearing a hardhat and holding a child. 12” high. Provenance: From the collection of the late Dr. James Dawson, sold to benefit the Dr. James Dawson MD Women's Clinic in Uganda. Previously sold at Garth's Auctions (Ohio), November 25, 2005, lot 81. Condition: Some surface wear, and retaining its original stained surface.
