PAINT-DECORATED WINDSOR SETTEE - American, 1820-1840, mixed woods including poplar. Half-spindle back with old repaint consisting of fruite on a buff-colored ground. 34.75” high, 73.75” long. Provenance: a Gallipolis, Ohio collection. Condition: Some wear, old repair where the crest meets the proper left stile, but still very sitable.
