TWO STONEWARE ADVERTISING JUGS - 1860-1880. Includes a two-gallon jug with cobalt decoration and impressed for John Conlon and Co., grocer and wine merchant, Lincoln St., Boston, 14” high; together with a small jug impressed for DW and HE Richards, Broad St., Newark, NJ, 8” high. Provenance: private collection. Condition: The Conlon with several chips and some firing fissures; the Richards with a couple of short, tight lines at the base.
