DIMINUTIVE EAGLE WEATHERVANE - American, late 19th century, copper. Hollow-bodied eagle on a sphere, and retaining a wonderful verdigris patina with traces of original gilding on the underside of the wings. 20.5” wingspan, on a modern stand. Provenance: private collection. Condition: Expected minor bends and splits, but nothing significant; no directionals, and missing the forward part of the crossmember.
